Privacy Policy
Nur Pearl Jewels ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and your rights under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
What we collect
- Account details: first and last name, email address, mobile number, and a password (stored only as a secure hash — we cannot read it). If you sign in with Google we receive your name and email from Google.
- Order details: items ordered, delivery address, chosen courier, order notes, order and payment status, and your return, replacement and refund requests.
- Reviews and photos: reviews you write, and photos you attach to a review or to a return, replacement or refund request. Reviews show only your first name and the initial of your last name.
- Technical data: a session cookie that keeps you logged in. We do not use advertising trackers.
Why we use it
- To create and secure your account, process and deliver your orders, and give you order updates by email and in the shop.
- To handle payments, returns and refunds, and to answer your concerns.
- To keep our records and prevent fraud or misuse.
Who receives it
- PayMongo processes your online payment (GCash, card or Maya). Your card or e-wallet details go directly to PayMongo; we never see or store them.
- Couriers (J&T Express) receive your name, mobile number and delivery address so they can deliver your order.
- Google (only if you choose "Sign in with Google") and our email provider (to send order emails).
- Messenger (Meta), only if you choose to chat with us there. What you send is handled under Meta's own terms and privacy policy.
- Photos you attach to a review are shown publicly on the product page. Photos you attach to a return or refund request are seen only by our staff.
- We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep account and order records for as long as your account is active and as needed for business, tax and legal purposes. You may ask us to delete your account at any time (see below).
Your rights
You have the right to be informed, to access and correct your information, to object to or withdraw consent for processing, to request deletion or blocking of your data, to data portability, and to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph). You can update your name and mobile number in My Account. For anything else, contact us below.
Security
Passwords are hashed, the shop is served over HTTPS, and staff access is protected by role-based logins. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affecting you occurs we will notify you and the NPC as required by law.
